Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Conducts service calls at customers' homes to diagnose and repair windows, doors, cabinets and other building materials typically sold by Concord BDC during home construction or remodel.
• Diagnoses problems and issues and can differentiate between a warranty issue, install error, or other types of root causes.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed, giving estimates and answering any questions customers may have.
• Able to professionally and delicately explain root cause issues without damaging customer/client relationships.
• Collect payments at the time of service.
• Maintain truck stock by notifying purchasing what may be needed to complete a job and or replace parts used from stock parts.
• Effectively communicates questions, concerns and resolutions with each sales team member who submits service claim.
• Follow a truck maintenance schedule and keep the truck clean and organized.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge operation of windows and doors.
• Familiar with tools needed to make basic repairs or replacement of parts on windows and doors and other products associated with home construction.
• Certification from building material manufacturers to make repairs and adjustments on manufactures products is helpful.
• Valid Driver's license.

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Power tools: 1 year (Preferred)
