Service Technician

Fix it. Fit it. Get it running.

No two days are the same out in the field. You’ll be the one industry calls when a machine goes down, working across mining, manufacturing, construction, and more, on everything from fixed plant to mobile equipment. We’re growing fast and need another sharp tech to join the Dandenong crew.

Why Berendsen Fluid Power?

• A real work-life balance: a monthly RDO, locked in
• Top-tier rate: paid what you’re worth
• Overtime when you want it: plenty on offer
• Work with the best: we’re at the forefront of hydraulic technology
• A career, not just a job: we promote from within and back your development

What you’ll be doing

• Heading out to site, diagnosing the fault, and getting the machine back up and running
• Deciding on the fix (repair or replace) and driving it through
• Installing and commissioning new hydraulic systems
• Carrying out preventative maintenance on existing equipment
• Time in the workshop on cylinder rebuilds, and pump and motor repairs and testing
• Doing it all safely and in line with WHS procedures

What you’ll bring

• Trade qualification (Diesel, Auto, Mechanical or Hydraulic Fitter)
• Hydraulic field service experience, with the ability to write clear, concise service reports
• Hydraulic overhaul and diagnostics experience, and the ability to read hydraulic circuits (desirable)
• Flexibility for overtime and weekend call-out rosters when needed
• Valid driver’s licence and a safety-first mindset
• Ambition to build a long-term career with us
