Join our Team!
Brown Brothers Engineers Flow Technology Ltd, a member of the AxFlow Group, is a leading supplier of specialist process equipment, representing brands like APV, Waukesha Cherry-Burrell, Seital, Bran+Luebbe, Gerstenberg Schroder and Anhydro.
We partner with customers in New Zealand's Dairy, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, and Process Industries to deliver process solutions using plate heat exchangers, pumps, valves, homogonisers, separators, powder mixers and other process equipment.
About the Role
As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers. Working both independently and as part of a wider service team in Hamilton, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and commissioning of a wide range of process equipment.
This is a hands-on technical role that combines mechanical expertise, problem-solving ability, and customer service. You will work closely with customers to minimise downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support the safe and efficient operation of their processing plants.
No two days are the same. From completing preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs to supporting shutdown projects and equipment upgrades, you will be involved in a variety of challenging and rewarding work across multiple industries.
Success in this role requires a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction, as well as the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues. In return, we offer the opportunity to work with premium global equipment brands, develop specialised technical skills, and be part of a respected industry-leading team.

- Participate in plant shutdowns, maintenance projects, and emergency breakdown response activities.
- Prepare accurate service reports, inspection documentation, and customer quotations.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and service activities.
- Work collaboratively with the wider service team to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality engineering solutions.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and health and safety standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency.
About you
