Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Service Technician to join our team and drive excellence in industrial maintenance and equipment repair. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of complex machinery and electrical systems within manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage circuits, using multimeters such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
• Conduct equipment repairs and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery, including HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical components.
• Read and interpret schematics, electrical blueprints, engineering troubleshooting manuals, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
• Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Operate precision measuring instruments for alignment, calibration, and quality control purposes.
• Engage in field service activities involving the use of scissor lifts and other access equipment to perform on-site repairs and inspections.
• Apply welding skills such as stick welding to repair metal components when necessary while adhering to safety standards.
• Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and other automation equipment to restore optimal operation.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety by following electrical safety protocols involving high voltage systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair status and technical solutions.

Experience

• Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities or industrial environments with a solid understanding of industrial mechanics and maintenance practices.
• Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting including reading schematics, using testing instruments like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and schematics interpretation.
• Knowledge of HVAC/R systems combined with experience in electrical maintenance related to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems, pneumatics troubleshooting, and the operation of industrial equipment such as scissor lifts.
• Demonstrated ability to perform welding tasks (stick welding) safely and effectively in an industrial setting.
• Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical blueprint reading, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by industrial electrician experience or industrial mechanic background is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing for clear documentation and customer interactions.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
