🕒 Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
⏰ Overtime payable for work performed beyond regular working hours
📞 Weekend standby duties required (activation and overtime apply when called out)

Job Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for carrying out installation, servicing, repair, commissioning, inspection, and technical support activities for marine and industrial equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, servicing, repair, testing, inspection, and commissioning of equipment and systems
• Carry out Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), field construction activities, sea trials, and plant commissioning works
• Ensure all work is completed according to technical manuals, quality standards, and customer requirements
• Maintain accurate project documentation and comply with ISO procedures, including Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Work Method Statements (WMS), and Permit-to-Work requirements
• Requisition equipment, tools, and materials required for projects
• Coordinate with customers regarding installation requirements, including cabling, welding, carpentry, and other site works
• Report additional customer requirements and project variations to management
• Assist in preparing technical drawings, documentation, and project-related materials
• Support the development and improvement of field service processes and procedures
• Identify, document, and report quality-related issues
• Handle and maintain inspection, measuring, and testing equipment in accordance with company procedures
• Prepare and endorse service reports upon completion of work
• Respond to technical enquiries and provide support to customers and internal teams
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• ITE, Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in:

  • Electronics Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Communication Engineering
  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Related technical disciplines

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in equipment servicing, installation, troubleshooting, or commissioning

• Experience with marine electronics, communication systems, navigation systems, or related technical equipment is an advantage

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

• Willingness to travel within Singapore and Southeast Asia for project assignments

• Able to work independently and as part of a team
