Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to join our team, specializing in residential HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires excellent communication skills to interact effectively with homeowners, explain technical issues clearly, and promote our services. A strong focus on electrical diagnostics and repairs is essential, along with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to sales when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment troubleshooting and repairs on residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal operation.
• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
• Diagnose electrical problems within HVAC equipment using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Communicate clearly with homeowners regarding system issues, repair options, and maintenance recommendations.
• Provide professional customer service by explaining technical details in an understandable manner.
• Promote additional services or products when suitable to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Keep detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, and parts used for each job.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC equipment troubleshooting and repair within a residential setting.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and diagnostic abilities.
• Ability to communicate fluently with homeowners, explaining technical concepts clearly and professionally.
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks efficiently, and manage time effectively.
• Valid relevant certifications or licenses related to HVAC or electrical work are preferred but not mandatory.
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment safely and perform physical tasks associated with the role.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
