Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable and technically savvy Service Technician to maintain and support our robotic coffee vending machines located within the Austin Airport. This role involves performing daily restocking, electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure seamless operation of the machines. The ideal candidate will be highly communicative, reliable, and capable of working independently with minimal in person supervision. This position is primarily remote, requiring frequent on-site visits to the machines for daily maintenance and restocking duties.

Responsibilities

• the main thing this position will be doing is Perform daily restocking of coffee beans, cups, water supplies, milk, cold brew, lemonade and other consumables to ensure optimal machine operation.
• make trips to Walmart to restock our cage area within the airport, you would have to schedule drop offs with the airport on mondays as needed.

• Empty waste tanks regularly to maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vending machines.
• Conduct electrical diagnostics on vending machines, including troubleshooting electrical systems and components.
• Repair and maintain electrical systems within the machines using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Diagnose equipment issues accurately and collaborate with the operations manager for effective solutions.
• Use specialized tools to repair or replace faulty electrical components as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with team members regarding machine status, repairs, and restocking schedules.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with electrical systems, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to repair electrical components efficiently using appropriate tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong technical aptitude with familiarity in working on electronic or mechanical equipment.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
• Good memory to be able to follow all daily tasks without missing any steps
• Excellent communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies and handling waste tanks regularly.
• Prior experience working with vending machines or similar electronic equipment is preferred but not required.

Pay: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15.0 per week
