The Opportunity:

Harding Medical is searching for a Service Technician to join our Charlottetown team in PEI. If you are a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working with others, you are our ideal candidate!

What You Will Do:

• Install and repair of rehab and home health care equipment.
• Communicate with client to determine the nature of the malfunction
• Test faulty equipment including electronic components and circuits to locate defects
• Replace defective components and adjust mechanical parts
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of service work performed
• Manage company assets effectively. Ensure safe working practices are adhered to
• Attend training classes (some travel may be required) Actively participate in personal upgrading in the form of continuing education and training to keep pace with advancing technology

What We Offer You:

• Wage: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

What You Need to Succeed:

• Grade 12 Academic
• 2-3 years of related experience in repair of home health care products is preferred but we will train the successful applicant
• Excellent mechanical abilities
• Experience with hand tools
• Construction, home renovation or other related experience
• Previous customer service and/or administrative experience would be considered an asset
• Clean Driver’s abstract is essential, strong interpersonal & communication skills
• Criminal records check will be required
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
