Service Technician

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Service Technician with hands-on experience in diesel engine overhauling, servicing, and diagnostics for both mechanical and electricals. The ideal candidate should preferably have hands-on experience with Perkins engines and be capable of carrying out maintenance and repair activities in both workshop and field environments.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overhaul diesel engines in the workshop and field, adhering to manufacturer standards.
• Conduct diagnostic tests, analyze results, and identify technical faults through electronic service tools.
• Promote service sales by identifying opportunities to upsell spare parts, maintenance services, and other service packages to clients.
• Perform preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, load bank testing, and engine diagnostics.
• Attend designated product training and apply the acquired technical knowledge.
• Follow safe working practices and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Submit daily activity reports through field service reports and internal workshop timesheets.
• Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the workshop, tools, and service vehicle.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors/Diploma in technical qualification or a related field.
• Min 8 Years of hands-on experience in diesel engine overhauling, preferably with Perkins engines & any certification from Perkins
• Strong technical skills in engine servicing, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and maintenance for both mechanical and electrical work.
• Ability to identify service sales and upselling opportunities with customers.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to handle repair jobs individually both mechanical and electricals.
• Must be honest, reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently in workshop and field environments.
• Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
