Service Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, and mechanical systems, with hands-on experience in service and maintenance. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairing various equipment, ensuring optimal functionality for our clients.

Duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and related equipment.
• Diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals to identify problems accurately.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Repair appliances and perform property maintenance tasks as needed.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment for repairs.
• Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional service and ensure their needs are met.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in the field or on-site at client locations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in construction or mechanical fields.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, refrigeration processes, and boiler operations.
• Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus.
• Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience with field service operations and appliance repair techniques.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Valid driver's license is required for travel to various job sites.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour
