Service Technician / Delivery Driver

Job Summary

The Service Technician / Delivery Driver plays a key role in ensuring customers receive outstanding after-sale support and timely deliveries. This position involves performing maintenance and repair work on golf carts in the field, picking up and delivering carts, and providing excellent customer service at every stop.

Key Responsibilities

Service & Maintenance

Perform diagnostics, battery tests, and repairs on customer golf carts.

Complete accessory installs (lights, mirrors, seat kits, etc.) and warranty repairs as assigned.

Keep accurate service notes, photos, and updates in the company system (BiT DMS / Podium).

Communicate clearly with customers about issues found, timelines, and next steps.

Follow dealership SOPs and safety standards at all times.

Delivery & Pickup

Load, secure, and transport golf carts using dealership trucks and trailers.

Deliver and pick up customer and showroom carts between dealership locations and customer sites.

Inspect each unit before and after transport, documenting any damages or discrepancies.

Represent the dealership professionally during all customer interactions.

Team & Facility Support

Assist with showroom setup, cart staging, and accessory installations as needed.

Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment—both in the shop and while on the road.

Support events, neighborhood demos, or deliveries as part of the marketing and service team.

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required).

Experience with trailers and tie-down safety procedures (required).

Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical troubleshooting skills preferred.

Prior experience in small engine, powersports, or automotive service a plus.

Strong communication, reliability, and customer service mindset.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for work orders and routing.

Schedule & Compensation

Full-time, Monday-Friday (typical schedule; may vary by season).

Pay based on experience, typically $15-25/hr

Company vehicle and tools provided for on-the-road work.
