Service Technician (Hybrid)

Exceptional solutions require exceptional people. We are looking for a proactive Technician (Hybrid) to join our Service team based in Egypt. The main function of this role is to act as the primary technical point of contact for consumers, ensuring the technical performance and customer satisfaction of Karcher's Home & Garden (H&G) product range. This is an all-rounder position that requires blending high-quality workshop repair skills with field-based logistical duties.

This is how you WOW:

• Diagnosis & Repair: Perform accurate and timely diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of the full range of Karcher H&G consumer products (e.g., Pressure Washers, Vacuum Cleaners, Steam Cleaners, Garden Pumps, etc.).
• Quality Control: Ensure all repaired units meet Karcher’s quality and safety standards before returning to the customer.
• Documentation: Accurately complete all job cards, service reports, and warranty claims using the designated system.
• Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries, providing clear explanations of repairs, product care, and usage to consumers.
• Product Demos: Conduct compelling and informative product demonstrations for customers, retailers, or at promotional events to showcase the features and proper use of H&G equipment.
• User Training: Provide essential 'how-to' training to end-users upon product delivery or in-store, maximizing customer product satisfaction and minimizing returns due to misuse.
• Product Delivery: Safely and efficiently manage the delivery of H&G products to customer locations as required.
• Installation/Setup: Assist customers with the initial setup and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring proper function on-site.
• Field Trouble-shooting: Provide on-site technical support for issues that cannot be resolved in the workshop.

It would be WOW if you would bring this in:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in technical service, maintenance, or repair, ideally with small engines, pumps, or consumer electrical appliances.
• Experience in corded electric, battery, and/or combustion engine-powered equipment, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and complex electrical/electronic controls.
• Demonstrated capacity to analyze data and solve complex logistical and technical problems with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to resolve technical and logistical challenges independently.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Fluent in Arabic and working proficiency in English (verbal and written).
• Computer skills and experience with CRM systems
• Valid Egyptian driving license and the ability to lift and maneuver products for delivery and setup.
