Join GMC as a Service Technician – Wharf Operations (Mechanical) and help ensure the reliable operation, maintenance, and performance of our Intake and Silo mechanical systems and equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct scheduled routine check-ups of operating mechanical machines and equipment under the preventive maintenance program
• Inspect machine components, running conditions, lubrication, and sanitation conditions
• Perform immediate maintenance and repairs on mechanical problems involving Intake/Silo systems and facilities
• Perform housekeeping and preventive maintenance on machinery such as conveyors, bucket elevators, gearboxes, and related equipment
• Identify and recommend necessary maintenance work, including replacement, repair, correction, or modification
• Ensure replacement parts, tools, and equipment used for maintenance and repair are correct and in good working condition
• Assist in the installation and fabrication of mechanical machinery and equipment as required
• Work closely with the Mechanical Service Engineer and Mechanical Plant Engineer to ensure efficient equipment operations

What We’re Looking For

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineering, BS Industrial Technology, Diploma in Electro-Mechanical, or Mechatronics
• Background in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledgeable in machine troubleshooting, particularly conveyors and bucket elevators
• Computer literate
• Able to understand and interpret verbal and written instructions
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work effectively with people within and outside the department
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining equipment reliability
