Service Technician (Robotics/ Automation)

Our client, a growing technology company in Singapore, is looking for a Field Service Technician to support the installation, maintenance and servicing of robotic systems deployed across client sites.

This is a hands-on position suited for technicians with experience in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, automation or equipment servicing who want to gain exposure to robotics technology and expand their technical skill set.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install, commission and set up robotic systems at customer sites
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, sensor and basic system faults
• Carry out repairs and component replacements when required
• Attend service call-outs and resolve technical issues on-site
• Escalate more complex issues to the engineering team
• Maintain service reports, fault logs and parts usage records
• Communicate professionally with customers and site personnel
• Provide basic operational guidance and training to users
• Support spare-parts management and identify recurring technical issues
• Travel to customer sites across Singapore when required

Occasional after-hours support or regional travel may be required depending on operational needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering or a related technical discipline

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, mechanical assemblies and fault troubleshooting

• Good problem-solving skills and able to remain composed when handling technical issues

• Class 3 driving licence would be advantageous

• Experience in robotics, automation, machinery or industrial equipment will be an advantage

Details:

SGD $2,500 – $3,500 per month, depending on relevant experience and technical background.

5 days work, 9-6pm
