Service Technician / Service Engineer (Fresh Graduates Welcome)

About the Role

Guan Kee Machinery & Equipment (M) Sdn Bhd is looking for motivated Service Technicians / Service Engineers to join our technical team.

We welcome both experienced technicians and fresh graduates who are interested in industrial machinery servicing and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery, including CNC press brakes, shearing machines and laser cutting machines.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems.
• Perform machine installation, testing, commissioning and preventive maintenance.
• Prepare and submit daily service reports.
• Provide technical support and basic machine training to customers.
• Attend service jobs at customer sites, including outstation assignments.
• Work closely with the service team and follow safety procedures.

About You

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experienced candidates: At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery independently.
• Fresh graduates: Welcome to apply. Basic technical knowledge and willingness to learn are essential.
• Able to understand electrical wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
• Experience with CNC machinery, AutoCAD or forklift operation is an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence and able to drive a manual vehicle.
• Willing to travel outstation when required.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Responsible, hardworking, good teamwork and willing to learn new technologies.
