Service Technician - Wall Mount

About the role

WM Service Technician role involving troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of equipment at customer locations and back-to-base servicing.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate equipment problems reported by users or detected through monitoring systems using diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and problem-solving skills
• Conduct repairs, replacements, or upgrades of faulty components, parts, or systems, including disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including performed tasks, parts used, and observations
• Generate reports detailing the status of equipment and repairs completed
• Interact with customers or end-users to understand equipment-related concerns and provide technical assistance
• Communicate complex technical information in a clear and understandable manner
• Adhere to safety guidelines, procedures, and industry regulations while performing maintenance and repair tasks
• Stay updated with the latest internal advancements in equipment technology and documented procedures
• Carry out on-site service visits to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain instruments at customer locations
• Pack and unpack product and ensure proper labelling and documentation of instruments

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems
• Capability to conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components
• Ability to maintain accurate records and generate reports
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and explain technical information
• Knowledge of safety guidelines and industry regulations
• Willingness to stay updated with equipment technology advancements
• Ability to provide guidance on maintenance and troubleshooting techniques

Requirement

• Selected candidates for this role will be required to undergo a Pre- Medical Assessment.
• Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test as part of the onboarding process.
