Key Responsibilities

• Training & Development
• Conduct technical and product training for Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians and Service Advisors.
• Provide induction training for newly joined service employees.
• Conduct refresher training based on identified skill gaps.
• Prepare training schedules, materials and practical demonstrations.
• Technical Training
• Train technicians on vehicle systems, service procedures and troubleshooting methods.
• Conduct training on engine, transmission, electrical, electronics, AC, braking, suspension and other vehicle systems.
• Provide training on new Tata vehicle models and updated technologies.
• Conduct EV/high-voltage system safety and technical training, wherever applicable.
• Diagnostic & Troubleshooting Training
• Train technicians on diagnostic scanners and manufacturer-recommended diagnostic procedures.
• Explain DTC identification, root-cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting.
• Conduct practical sessions on electrical circuits, sensors, actuators and ECU-related systems.
• Support technicians in resolving complex technical cases.
• Service Advisor Training
• Train Service Advisors on customer complaint identification and technical understanding.
• Develop their knowledge of service procedures, estimates and repair explanations.
• Train them on effective customer communication and handling technical queries.
• Workshop Skill Development
• Assess individual technician skill levels.
• Identify skill gaps and prepare individual/team development plans.
• Conduct practical assessments and technical evaluations.
• Mentor junior and trainee technicians.
• Quality Improvement
• Analyse repeat repairs, comeback cases and technical complaints.
• Identify training requirements based on workshop quality issues.
• Conduct corrective training to reduce rework and repeat complaints.
• Support the workshop in improving First-Time Fix (FTF) performance.
• Tata Motors Standards & Processes
• Ensure employees understand and follow Tata Motors service procedures and technical standards.
• Communicate relevant technical updates, service campaigns and technical instructions.
• Ensure technicians use prescribed tools, equipment and diagnostic procedures.
• Training Records & MIS
• Maintain employee-wise training records.
• Prepare monthly training calendars and completion reports.
• Track assessment scores and competency levels.
• Submit training and skill-development reports to the Service Manager/Management.
• Practical Demonstration
• Conduct hands-on training using actual vehicles, components and workshop equipment.
• Demonstrate correct repair, inspection and diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure trainees understand both theoretical and practical aspects.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
