Service Writer

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and ensuring a high level of satisfaction throughout the service process.
• Warranty Management: Handle warranty submissions and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and deadlines.
• CDK Proficiency: Utilize CDK software for service operations, including creating work orders, tracking service history, and managing inventory.
• Labor Time Management: Manage and oversee labor time guides, ensuring accurate billing and efficient technician scheduling.
• Technical Support: Assist technicians with labor time estimates and provide support for any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of service transactions, warranty claims, and technician time.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Service Writer. Preferably in the commercial truck industry.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in CDK software and experienced in managing labor time guides and warranty submissions.
• Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the commercial truck industry and familiarity with labor time guides.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently and accurately.

Pay: $48,369.30 - $125,000.00 per year
