Service Writer

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled. Position: Service Writer

Location: Hilo, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $24/hour

Experience: Clerical experience and customer service experience required.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Job Description

• Greet customers at the front desk and assist with service requests.
• Document service details and maintain accurate records for service orders.
• Coordinate communication between customers and service technicians.
• Enter service information and updates into internal computer systems.
• Provide status updates to customers regarding service progress.
• Maintain organized files and documentation related to service operations.
• Support general office and administrative tasks as needed.

Position Requirements

• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Front desk or reception experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
