About the job

One Stop Auto is a family-owned used car dealership, service and detailing operation with two locations in Tulsa looking for an organized Service Writer to be the main point of contact between our customers and our service department. You'll greet customers, write up repair orders, explain recommended work in plain language, and keep vehicles moving through the shop on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, and schedule service appointments
• Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document symptoms on repair orders
• Inspect vehicles at check-in and note existing damage or condition
• Work with technicians to diagnose issues and prepare accurate estimates
• Explain recommended repairs and maintenance clearly, without pressure, and get customer approval before work begins
• Order parts and confirm delivery of parts
• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
• Update customers on progress, delays, or additional findings
• Coordinate with technicians and sales staff on reconditioning of newly acquired inventory
• Process invoices, review completed work with customers, and handle payments
• Follow up after service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Handle warranty claims and third-party service contract paperwork
• Maintain a clean, welcoming customer service area
• Open and close the store

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Valid driver's license
• 1 to 2 years of experience in automotive service, parts, or customer service

Schedule and physical requirements

• Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Saturday, 9 a.m to 5:30 p.m.
• Frequent standing and walking between the office, lot, and shop
• Comfortable in a shop environment (noise, fluids, varying temperatures)
