Key Responsibilities

Our client is looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Expert with strong hands-on expertise in CMDB, CSDM, Configuration Items, relationships, data quality, and integrations.

The consultant should be comfortable working directly with end customers, conducting workshops, understanding existing CMDB challenges, recommending improvements, and coordinating with technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand CMDB requirements and existing challenges.
• Design, implement and enhance ServiceNow CMDB solutions.
• Define and maintain CI classes, attributes and relationships.
• Support CMDB architecture aligned with CSDM principles.
• Assess and improve CMDB completeness, correctness and data quality.
• Define identification and reconciliation approaches to prevent duplicate CIs.
• Support integration of CMDB data from external systems and discovery sources.
• Participate in CMDB workshops, requirement gathering and solution-design discussions.
• Troubleshoot CMDB-related issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Work with ServiceNow development, infrastructure, application and operations teams.
• Prepare solution documentation and provide knowledge transfer to customer teams.
• Communicate effectively with French-speaking business and technical stakeholders.

Experience/Qualifications:

• 7–8 years of ServiceNow experience, with strong hands-on CMDB expertise.

Strong knowledge of:

• ServiceNow CMDB

• Configuration Items and CI relationships

• CMDB class hierarchy

• CSDM

• Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE)

• CMDB data quality and governance

• Import Sets and Transform Maps

• Experience integrating external data sources with ServiceNow CMDB.

• Good understanding of ServiceNow ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change and Request.

• Knowledge of Discovery concepts and MID Server integrations.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to conduct technical/customer workshops independently.

• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management capability.

• Customer Interaction: Direct end-customer facing role

• Professional working proficiency in French is mandatory.

• Good communication skills in English.

Good to Have:

• ServiceNow Discovery / Service Mapping experience.
• IntegrationHub experience.
• Experience implementing or improving CSDM.
• ServiceNow CSA / CIS certification.
• ITIL certification.
