ServiceNow CMDB Expert - IT - CDI/Freelance

Context

For one of our clients in Luxembourg, we are looking for an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Expert. In a direct end-customer facing role, you will run workshops, understand the existing CMDB challenges, recommend improvements and coordinate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver a reliable CMDB aligned with CSDM.

Missions

• Understand CMDB requirements and current challenges directly with customer stakeholders
• Design, implement and enhance ServiceNow CMDB solutions
• Define and maintain CI classes, attributes and relationships
• Support a CMDB architecture aligned with CSDM principles
• Assess and improve CMDB completeness, correctness and data quality
• Define identification and reconciliation rules (IRE) to prevent duplicate CIs
• Integrate CMDB data from external systems and discovery sources (Import Sets, Transform Maps, MID Server)
• Lead CMDB workshops, requirement gathering and solution-design discussions
• Troubleshoot CMDB issues and recommend corrective actions
• Work with ServiceNow development, infrastructure, application and operations teams
• Produce solution documentation and run knowledge transfer to customer teams

Working Conditions

• Contract: Freelance, CDI or CDD: we will find a solution as long as you are the right candidate
• Location: Luxembourg, on site (no remote work)
• We are looking for people ready to relocate and work in Luxembourg
• Salary / daily rate: depending on profile
• Languages: French and English

1. 7 to 8 years of ServiceNow experience, with strong hands-on CMDB expertise
2. Strong knowledge of CI relationships, CMDB class hierarchy, CSDM and IRE
3. Experience with CMDB data quality and governance, and with integrating external data sources
4. Good understanding of ITSM processes and of Discovery / MID Server concepts
5. Discovery / Service Mapping, IntegrationHub, CSDM implementation, CSA / CIS and ITIL certifications are a plus
6. Customer-facing: able to run workshops and manage stakeholders independently
7. Professional working proficiency in French (mandatory) and good English
8. Ready to relocate and work on site in Luxembourg
