Duties

• Develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications to streamline IT service management processes.
• Lead the architecture and implementation of cloud infrastructure solutions utilizing AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms.
• Design scalable system architectures employing microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern web development frameworks such as React Express.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices in software engineering and system design patterns.
• Implement automation pipelines using CI/CD tools like GitHub, SVN, and Jenkins to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Oversee the integration of various APIs and third-party services to extend platform capabilities while maintaining security standards such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
• Provide technical guidance on programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Java, C++, C, VBA, Ruby on Rails, and others to support diverse development needs.
• Lead efforts in system optimization for scalability and performance across distributed environments using Linux and Windows servers.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce version control protocols, and promote Agile software development methodologies for rapid iteration and delivery.
• Mentor team members on best practices in software design, cloud engineering principles, and emerging technologies like quantum engineering where applicable.

Skills

• Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform customization and application development.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components including cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), microservices architecture, and scalable systems design.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript frameworks (React), Python, Java, C++, Ruby on Rails; familiarity with front-end development is a plus.
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design & integration for seamless communication between systems.
• Expertise in software engineering principles including design patterns, system design for system development, scalability considerations, and version control (GitHub, SVN).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment processes.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL and SQL Server for application data handling.
• Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools supporting agile software development practices.
• Ability to architect secure systems using RBAC policies while maintaining compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to lead projects effectively.

Pay: $48.18 - $58.02 per hour
