ServiceNow Developer - CMDB Data Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on CMDB data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules and be able to effectively design, develop, and maintain CMDB configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

CMDB Data Management:

• Design, develop, and maintain CMDB configurations to ensure data accuracy and consistency
• Enrich CMDB data through automation and integration with other systems
• Analyze CMDB data to identify gaps and inconsistencies
• Implement data quality checks and validation rules

ITOM Process Automation:

• Automate ITOM processes using ServiceNow workflows, scripts, and integrations
• Develop custom applications to enhance ITOM capabilities
• Optimize ITOM workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

ITSM Integration:

• Integrate CMDB with other ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, etc) to enable seamless workflows
• Develop custom integrations to synchronize data between systems

Reporting and Analytics:

• Create custom reports and dashboards to visualize CMDB data
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Provide insights to IT operations teams to support decision-making

Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:

• Troubleshoot CMDB and ITOM issues
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Provide technical support to end-users

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, and ITSM modules
• Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Script Includes, etc)
• Experience with ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI policies
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

• ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer)
• Experience with ServiceNow integration with other systems
• Knowledge of data modeling and database design
