ServiceNow Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and solutions. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, JavaScript, REST API integrations, and ITSM modules, with the ability to deliver solutions across the full development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and platform functionality.
• Configure and enhance ITSM, Service Catalog, Incident Management, and related ServiceNow modules.
• Create and maintain Catalog Items, Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, Script Includes, and other platform components.
• Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST APIs and other integration technologies.
• Configure and utilize Flow Designer, Workflow, and IntegrationHub where applicable.
• Perform server-side and client-side JavaScript development.
• Use GlideRecord, GlideAjax, and other ServiceNow scripting capabilities to implement business requirements.
• Troubleshoot, test, debug, and resolve ServiceNow application and integration issues.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Conduct unit testing and support implementation and deployment activities.

About you

• 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar ServiceNow development role.
• Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, including client-side and server-side scripting.
• Experience with REST API integrations and third-party system integrations.
• Full-cycle ServiceNow development experience, from requirements through implementation and support.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM and Service Catalog.
• Experience with Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, Script Includes, and Flow Designer/Workflow.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.
• Experience with REST API development and consumption, OAuth authentication, Basic Authentication, and API Tokens.
