ServiceNow Developer

As a Software Engineer Global IT, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions that support business operations worldwide. Working closely with global IT teams and stakeholders, you'll create scalable applications, automate processes, and enhance user experiences across the organization. This role is ideal for an experienced ServiceNow Developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across international teams, and driving continuous improvement through technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations to support business needs.
• Configure and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and other platform customizations.
• Manage and optimize the ServiceNow CMDB to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to improve platform stability and functionality.
• Collaborate with global IT teams, business stakeholders, and end users to deliver effective technology solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, user support, and training to maximize platform adoption and success.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge resources.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance service quality through technology.
• Ensure compliance with IT standards, quality requirements, and established governance practices.

Qualifications

Must Have

• At least bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, ServiceNow development, or a related IT engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform and its core modules.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript.
• Experience developing and maintaining integrations using REST and/or SOAP APIs.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL, XML, and modern software development concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, virtual, and cross-functional environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach.

Nice To Have

• Current ServiceNow Certification(s).
• Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices.
• Knowledge of service management, project management, or enterprise IT operations.
• Experience supporting global users and distributed teams.
• Additional language skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally for business needs.
