ServiceNow Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform.
• Build and maintain workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, script includes, and catalog items.
• Develop and support ServiceNow modules such as:
• IT Service Management (ITSM)
• IT Operations Management (ITOM)
• IT Asset Management (ITAM)
• HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
• Customer Service Management (CSM)
• Create and maintain Service Catalogs, Knowledge Management solutions, and self-service portals.
• Develop integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and MID Server.
• Perform platform upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and support teams to gather and implement requirements.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development best practices and governance standards.
• Create technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3-8 years of overall IT experience with at least 2+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience with:
• ServiceNow Platform Development
• JavaScript
• Glide APIs
• Service Catalog
• Workflow/Flow Designer
• Business Rules
• Client Scripts
• UI Policies
• Script Includes
• ACLs
• Experience in ITSM implementation and customization.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP integrations and API development.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery is preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Additional certifications in ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, or Integration Hub are advantageous.
• Exposure to cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.

Pay: $95,721.03 – $130,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Australia
