ServiceNow Developer Principal

For our client, we are seeking a ServiceNow Developer Principal to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will focus on designing, building, and customizing applications on the ServiceNow platform to support enterprise workflows and operational efficiency. The position will also drive automation, integrations, and platform enhancements that improve user experience and help business stakeholders achieve their goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver reporting, dashboards, troubleshooting support, and system improvements across the organization.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $119,000 – $161,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform
• Create custom scripts to automate processes
• Connect the platform with other systems using REST and SOAP
• Perform administrative tasks such as user management and system maintenance
• Customize user interfaces and workflows to meet business needs
• Provide end-user support and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define reports and dashboards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in software engineering
• Expertise in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications, especially ITSM
• Proficiency with integration methods like SOAP and REST
• Strong scripting skills, preferably in JavaScript
• Understanding of data management tools and Agile processes
