Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer with hands-on experience in IT Operations Management (ITOM), Discovery, Event Management, CMDB, and Service Mapping. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in implementing and supporting ITOM solutions, developing integrations, optimizing CMDB health, and automating infrastructure and operational processes on the ServiceNow platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
• Configure and support ServiceNow Discovery, Event Management, CMDB, and Service Mapping modules.
• Develop and maintain Discovery schedules, patterns, probes, sensors, and MID Server integrations.
• Implement and maintain Service Mapping for business services and application dependencies.
• Configure Event Management rules, alert correlation, alert aggregation, and operational dashboards.
• Ensure CMDB data quality, governance, reconciliation, and health monitoring.
• Develop workflows, Flow Designer solutions, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and automation capabilities.
• Integrate ServiceNow with monitoring and infrastructure tools using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and other integration methods.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to identify and map business services.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and integration issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Create reports, dashboards, KPIs, and operational metrics for IT Operations.
• Participate in upgrades, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and process documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4-8 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience.

• Good understanding of cloud and infrastructure technologies including:

• Windows Servers

• Linux Servers

• Network Devices

• Virtualization Technologies

• Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ticketing tool and ITSM processes.

• Experience in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.
• ServiceNow CIS-Discovery or CIS-ITOM certification preferred.
• ITIL Foundation Certification.
• Experience working in enterprise-scale ITOM implementations.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
