ServiceNow ITSM Developer / SME

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITSM Developer / SME to join our team and support critical business systems and IT service management operations. You will combine strong ServiceNow technical and development expertise with the ability to operate at an SME level, collaborate across teams, and take ownership of technical decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a ServiceNow SME and provide technical guidance to the team
• Develop, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow solutions
• Investigate and resolve application and platform issues
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions
• Support Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes
• Monitor system health and proactively identify potential risks
• Collaborate with multiple technical and business teams
• Participate in technical and operational decision-making
• Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely issue resolution and service quality

About you

• 5–8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow ITSM
• Experience with CSDM
• Strong ServiceNow Development and Configuration experience
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting and automation
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills
• Experience customizing ServiceNow modules based on business requirements
• Ability to work as a ServiceNow SME and provide technical solutions across teams
• Proven hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, scripting, customization, and/or automation
