ServiceNow Platform Support Developer

LOCATION and SETUP:

Philippines | Hybrid (onsite/remote ratio to be confirmed)

Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Platform Support Developer to join our team. In this role, you will keep the ServiceNow platform stable, secure, and continuously improving by handling day-to-day platform support, resolving defects, delivering enhancements, and implementing new capabilities.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, platform administrators, architects, and support teams, translating requirements into well-built solutions and making sure changes move safely from development to production.

Responsibilities

· Design, develop, configure, and support ServiceNow applications and modules in line with platform best practices.

· Build and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Catalog Items.

· Create and enhance automated processes using Flow Designer, workflows, and IntegrationHub.

· Configure and support Service Catalog and Request Management, including record producers, variables, and fulfillment flows.

· Support and enhance Incident, Change, and Problem Management processes.

· Troubleshoot and resolve platform incidents and defects within agreed service levels.

· Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent fixes.

· Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub spokes, and other APIs.

· Maintain CMDB data quality and support CMDB-related configuration and processes.

· Support platform upgrades, patching, clone-downs, and regular maintenance activities, including regression testing.

· Manage code movement using Update Sets and source control, and support production deployments and change implementation.

· Participate in code reviews and promote secure, maintainable, upgrade-safe development practices.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, including design notes, configuration records, and support runbooks.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

· 5 to 8+ years of total IT experience, with at least 5 years of hands-on ServiceNow development.

· Strong ServiceNow platform development experience across configuration and scripting.

· Proficiency in JavaScript, the Glide API (server and client side), and Script Includes.

· Hands-on experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

· Solid experience with Service Catalog and Request Management.

· Working knowledge of Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

· Good understanding of the CMDB, its data model, and CI relationships.

· Experience building and supporting REST and SOAP integrations.

· Experience with Update Sets and source control for release management.

Preferred

· Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and/or ITAM modules.

· Experience supporting ServiceNow in a large enterprise or managed services environment.

· Familiarity with Agile delivery and ITIL practices.

Certification

· ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), preferred.

· Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, Certified Implementation Specialist) are an advantage.
