Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Portal Design SME to lead the design, development, and optimization of ServiceNow portals and user experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ServiceNow Employee Center, Service Portal, UI Builder, and UX design principles, ensuring intuitive, engaging, and business-aligned digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow portals, Employee Center, and self-service solutions.
• Gather and analyze business requirements to translate them into effective portal designs and user journeys.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and UX/UI designs that align with organizational standards and best practices.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow portal widgets, pages, themes, and components.
• Collaborate with platform architects, developers, process owners, and stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Drive portal governance, branding consistency, accessibility, and usability standards.
• Provide technical guidance and best-practice recommendations for ServiceNow portal architecture and design.
• Stay current with ServiceNow roadmap features, UI Builder capabilities, and industry UX trends.

Required Skills & Experience5+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.

Workspace experiences
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS
Experience designing user-friendly portals and self-service experiences.
Knowledge of ServiceNow Data Model, Catalogs, Knowledge Management, and Workflows.
Strong understanding of UX/UI design principles and accessibility standards.
Experience integrating ServiceNow portals with enterprise systems and services.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred QualificationsServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certifications.
Experience with Employee Experience, HRSD, ITSM, or CSM modules.
Familiarity with Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design tools.
