Your Task

The Software Developer works within a SCRUM team to develop, design, and implement new or modified software products for ongoing business projects. The target of development is automation of business processes and cross-platform automation. The holder of this position handles all phases of the software development lifecycle, especially for small or midsize solutions. You will follow agreed methodology steps and rituals and take responsibility for produced code to independently deliver functional solutions with the team. You will share knowledge with less experienced colleagues, document and share best practices, and constantly work on self-development while following industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Development of complex IT systems and applications
• Analysis of requirements and communication with internal stakeholders
• Use agreed programming language or tools to develop automation solutions
• Development according to Agile methodology – SCRUM
• Creation of technical documentation
• Creative approach within complex solution and technology used
• Active participation in research and development projects
• Work closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts on implementation and testing of the developed solution
• Train users

Your Profile

We are looking for a Software Developer with extensive ServiceNow platform expertise, strong technical skills in configuration and scripting, ITIL process knowledge, and experience working in agile development environments.

Must Have Skills

• Very good knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, especially in building custom apps
• Experience in implementing requirements in ServiceNow: configuration, scripting, and development of solutions
• Confident in using Service Portal, Catalog Items, and Self-Service Applications
• Experience with data migrations, CMDB data modeling, and ServiceNow Foundation Data
• Understanding of ITIL processes (ideally ITIL v4) and mapping them to ServiceNow
• Structured and reliable way of working with high quality standards
• Ability to quickly understand technical requirements and implement them in ServiceNow
• Independent work in the development team and ability to work in a team
• ITSM ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS ITSM)
• Primary focus on Development in Request Fulfilment / Catalog Items
• 3+ years project experience
• SCRUM / Agile Development experience
• Good knowledge of written and spoken German and English

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in agile projects (Scrum) is an advantage

Salary: Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than €2,000 gross.
