ServiceNow Specialist

Milestone IT is partnering with a large retail organisation seeking an experienced ServiceNow Specialist to take a key role in maintaining and improving its CMDB and associated capabilities.

This opportunity suits a hands-on specialist who knows this space thoroughly and wants to become the organisation’s go-to resource. You’ll bring technical depth, ownership and the confidence to work with stakeholders to keep configuration data accurate, services mapped and the platform well supported.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and improving the CMDB, including data quality, accuracy and configuration item relationships.
• Supporting and enhancing ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Managing certificate discovery, visibility and lifecycle processes.
• Providing ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support.
• Working with infrastructure and service owners to resolve issues and improve visibility across the environment.
• Identifying practical improvements and providing clear technical guidance.

We’re looking for:

• Extensive hands-on ServiceNow experience, with strong expertise in CMDB.
• Demonstrated experience with Discovery, Service Mapping and certificate management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting complex enterprise environments.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work independently while building effective stakeholder relationships.
• A proactive approach and a desire to take ownership as the key specialist in this space.

The initial engagement is for six months, with a preference for someone who can start as soon as possible.
