About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Technical Consultant with strong expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM) to join our team on a remote contract basis.

You will play a key role in delivering and supporting ServiceNow ITOM solutions, helping enterprise customers improve visibility, monitoring, discovery and operational efficiency across their technology estate.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure and develop ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
• Lead technical delivery across ServiceNow ITOM implementations, enhancements and integrations.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Configure and optimise ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management .
• Develop and maintain integrations with monitoring, infrastructure and third-party platforms.
• Support CMDB population, health and data quality initiatives.
• Configure Discovery patterns, credentials, MID Servers and related components.
• Implement and optimise event management and alerting solutions.
• Develop service maps to provide clear visibility of business and technical services.
• Work closely with architects, developers, administrators and operational teams.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide expert recommendations.
• Produce technical designs, documentation and implementation artefacts.
• Promote ServiceNow best practices and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable and aligned with platform standards.

Essential Experience & Certifications

Candidates must have:

• Significant hands-on ServiceNow technical consulting experience .
• Strong experience delivering ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
• Demonstrable expertise across areas such as:
• ServiceNow Discovery
• Service Mapping
• Event Management
• CMDB
• MID Server
• ITOM Health / operational visibility
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• Two ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications
• Experience delivering ServiceNow implementations, configurations and technical enhancements.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, scripting and integrations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently within a fully remote delivery environment.

Desirable

• CIS – Discovery
• CIS – Service Mapping
• CIS – Event Management
• Experience with ServiceNow ITOM Visibility / Health .
• Strong knowledge of CMDB architecture and CSDM .
• Experience with Service Graph Connectors and third-party integrations.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs and ServiceNow integration technologies.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise ServiceNow programmes.
• Additional ServiceNow certifications.
