ServiceNow Tester

About the Role

The role focuses on creating, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of ServiceNow applications, enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain ServiceNow ATF test cases and test suites.
• Build reusable test components and automation frameworks.
• Automate functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Set up and manage test data and test environments.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and report defects.
• Validate ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Create test scenarios and test scripts from business requirements.
• Support release testing, upgrade validation, and production deployments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and backlog grooming.
• Continuously improve test coverage and automation standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ServiceNow testing experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
• Experience testing ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow modules such as:
• Customer Service Management (CSM)
• Service Portal
• Employee Center

Required Skills

ServiceNow & ATF

• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow ATF.
• Understanding of ServiceNow architecture and platform capabilities.
• Experience with ServiceNow releases and upgrade testing.
• Knowledge of: Customer Service Management (CSM) & Workflows and Flow Designer
• Scripting & Development
• Working knowledge of JavaScript.

Familiarity with

• Client Scripts, Business Rules, UI Policies, Script Includes, Flow Designer, Integration Hub
• Ability to validate custom ServiceNow development.

Testing & Integration

• Functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Smoke and sanity testing.
• UAT support and defect management.
• Experience testing integrations using:
• REST APIs
• SOAP services
• Monitoring tools

Tools

• ServiceNow ATF
• Jira
• Postman
• Selenium (preferred)
