Services Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and service activities at client sites.
• Respond to assigned service calls and address customer technical concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and provide technical support for security systems, particularly:
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Provide technical guidance and support to engineers, technicians, and other team members.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive technical reports, including narrative, explanatory, assessment, and recommendation reports.
• Conduct site surveys to assess additional installation requirements, system needs, and potential service opportunities.
• Monitor the progress and completion of preventive maintenance activities and assigned projects.
• Coordinate with supervisors, officers, dispatch/service personnel, engineers, technicians, and customers regarding service requirements and site concerns.
• Ensure all technical activities are performed efficiently and in compliance with company policies, client requirements, safety standards, and applicable procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of service activities, findings, recommendations, and completed work through the company's helpdesk system and service portal.
• Participate in technical training, seminars, and other learning opportunities to continuously enhance technical and professional competencies.
• Promote teamwork and provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to other engineers and team members.
• Assist management in technical decision-making, troubleshooting, and resolution of site-related concerns.
• Maintain strong client relationships by providing timely, professional, and effective technical support.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Licensed Engineer
• Experience or working knowledge of CCTV and Access Control Systems is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Customer-service oriented with the ability to communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders.
• Adaptable, dependable, and capable of working effectively under pressure and in field-based environments.
• Willing to undergo technical training and learn other building management, security, and engineering systems.
• Knowledge of strategic planning, risk management, or change management is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and perform field-based technical work as required.
