Set-Up Technician - Maintenance

Position Summary:

Sets up and starts production machinery as required to meet schedules and customer commitments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Maintains cycle and process integrity for all manufacturing equipment with the direction of the Production Supervisor.

· Works with support department to ensure tools, machines and processes are consistent with established process.

· Maintain documentation and paperwork to support production cycles and procedures. Complete documentation audits to ensure parameters are within acceptable limits.

· Complete process adjustments as needed to maintain dimensions, reduce scrap, maintain cycle time.

· Obtains training from Senior Setup personnel and Technicians to enhance knowledge and experience in all aspects of the production floor.

· Performs setups and other production related duties to maintain production schedules and on time delivery of parts to customers.

· Works on all presses as production requirements dictate.

· Assist with training new personnel as necessary.

· Ability to start machine following mold change and complete paperwork as required.

· Keeps work area cleaned and maintained.

· Ability to work overtime.

Pay: $21.22 - $41.33 per hour
