We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at ISH Dining Services in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of food service to our residents. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and service of meals, snacks, and beverages
• Prepare and store food according to department procedures and state/federal regulations
• Ensure sanitary preparation and storage areas
• Transport trays and carts to or from resident floors
• Handle, store, and dispose of food supplies
• Follow facility policies and procedures for infection control and resident tray handling
• Communicate with the Director of Food Service or Assistant Director of Food Service throughout the shift

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to work well with peers in a congenial work environment
• Must maintain utmost compassion and dignity to residents
• Must be able to work every other weekend, as well as holidays and as needed, to ensure proper staffing levels
