Setter - CNC / VMC / TMC / Sliding Head Machines

We are hiring a Setter responsible for the precise setup and configuration of CNC, VMC, TMC and Sliding Head machines to ensure optimal machine performance and consistent production quality as per engineering specifications and production plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform machine setup and tool changes as per job requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets and control plans.
• Ensure zero deviation during setting to maintain consistent part quality.
• Coordinate with programmers and operators for smooth handover after setup.
• Conduct trial runs and first-piece inspections.
• Monitor tooling condition and inform the concerned team for replacement or regrinding.
• Maintain cleanliness and order around machines.
• Follow safety protocols and company quality standards.
• Document setup details for future reference.
• Troubleshoot issues related to machine settings and tooling.
• Prepare and configure machines before handing them over to operators.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in machine setting.
• Experience in brass component or precision part manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience with CNC, VMC, TMC and Sliding Head machines.
• Hands-on experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi and Brother controllers.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings.
• Familiarity with measurement tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to machine settings and tooling.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Physically fit to stand and work for long durations.
