Settlement Analyst

Job Responsibilities

1. Provide professional market insights and trading information to clients based on market conditions, price movements, and client needs, while executing client trading instructions accurately and efficiently.
2. Monitor global financial markets, client positions, and risk parameters in real time, proactively identifying potential risks and assisting in risk management and control processes.
3. Build and maintain long-term client relationships by responding promptly to client inquiries and delivering high-quality trading support and customer service.
4. Ensure all trading activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards, maintaining adherence to relevant regulations and operational procedures.
5. Assist clients in resolving trading-related system, platform, and technical issues, while coordinating with internal teams to provide timely solutions.
6. Prepare daily trading reports and maintain accurate transaction records, while supporting new product launches, testing activities, and related business initiatives.
7. Work closely with trading, operations, risk management, and IT teams to ensure smooth trading workflows and prompt response to client needs.
8. Stay updated on market developments, product and industry news to continuously enhance professional knowledge and service quality.

Requirements

1. Knowledge and experience in global equities, futures, options, and leveraged foreign exchange products, with a good understanding of global financial markets.
2. Strong analytical and risk assessment skills, with the ability to effectively monitor market movements and interpret market trends.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain professional client relationships.
4. Familiarity with financial systems, trading platforms (e.g., ATP, CQG, TT, MT4), and market infrastructure tools (e.g., CME ClearPort, SGX Titan, ICE Block), with the ability to operate trading systems proficiently.
5. Good understanding of financial industry regulations and compliance requirements, with a strong commitment to maintaining regulatory standards.
6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with strong attention to detail, accountability, and execution capabilities.
7. Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Banking, or a related field.
8. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience are preferred. Prior experience in brokerage, trading, or financial services environments is advantage, outstanding fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
9. Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts, with strong time management and the ability to work under pressure.
10. CMFAS certifications (Modules 2A, 5 and 1B) are preferred.
11. Strong proficiency in both English and Chinese, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds. Chinese proficiency is preferred to support Chinese-speaking clients.
