Settlement & Claims Officer (3-year full-time contract post)

Key Responsibilities

• Process member accounts for settlements for resignations, retirements, and deceased members.
• Handle claims administration and liaise with members, beneficiaries and lawyers.
• Manage arrears and defaulting accounts, including follow-up, repayment arrangements, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with debt collection agencies and legal firms on recovery matters.
• Administer insurance matters, including premium reconciliations and claims submissions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and management information.
• Ensure compliance with PDPA and organisational policies.
• Maintain timely and accurate storage and archival of records and documents in accordance with data policy.
• Handle member enquiries and perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Preferably 2 years of relevant experience in settlements, claims, collections, or administration.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

This is a 3-year full-time contract post.
