Settlement Manager - Operations

Job description：

• Process and monitor settlement activities for Private Banking investment products, including equities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products, foreign exchange, and corporate actions
• Perform trade validation, settlement controls, reconciliation, and exception handling to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing
• Liaise with custodians, counterparties, brokers, and internal stakeholders to resolve settlement issues and operational inquiries
• Support corporate actions, asset servicing, cash and securities reconciliation, and custody-related operations
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and operational procedures
• Participate in system enhancements, UAT, process improvement projects
• Perform ad hoc duties and projects assigned by the Team Head

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, or a related discipline.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant banking experience, with hands-on experience in investment operations, securities settlement, or custody services.
• Sound knowledge of Private Banking investment products, including equities, fixed income, mutual funds, structured products, foreign exchange, and corporate actions.
• Knowledge of SWIFT messaging, settlement processes, and custodial operations. Hands-on experience with Avaloq is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred
