Settlement Manager / VP

About the role

This role involves activities including Securities/Futures/Bond settlement, Corporate Action for Equities (Global Markets) and OTC Bonds market, Client funding Operation, IPO (FINI Platform), US market Placement and SBL. You will manage clients' money segregation, client trade, exchange, and brokers' trade matching, as well as daily and monthly position reconciliation. You will also participate in settlement and middle office system implementation and UAT testing.

Key responsibilities

• Client Trade, Exchange, Brokers' trade matching
• Daily and Monthly position reconciliation
• Settlement and Middle office system implementation
• Participate in UAT testing

About you

• Bachelor degree or above in finance/accounting or related majors
• Minimum 8 years related experience in Operations, Settlement on Licensing Type 1 and 2 activities
• Familiar with relevant Compliance Rules, AML policy, Client Money Rules and Regulations, OTC products, CCASS, CCMS and DCASS operations
• Ability to work under pressure
• Detail-minded, self-motivated
• Great communications skill and interpersonal skill
• Strong leadership and organization skills
• Fluency in written English and Chinese
• Proficiency in spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
