Settlement Manager/ Asst. Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily back office activities including but not limited to securities/bond/option/FCN settlement, corporate action, client fund transfers, IPO, placement and SBL etc. for local and global markets, especially for US market.
• Liaise with front office, banks, brokers and external authorities to follow up settlement related issues
• Ensure the operational procedures are compliance with relevant regulatory and ensure all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently
• Develop and implement robust settlement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Implement and maintain effective internal control in the operating process to minimize risk exposure
• Participate in system enhancements, UAT and perform ad hoc assignments / duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years related experience in brokerage industry
• Familiar with relevant compliance rules and regulations, OTC products, CCASS, and CTM operations
• Mature, detail-minded, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Great communications skill, interpersonal skill and a team player
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure and multiple priorities
• Strong leadership and organization skills
• Proficiency in both spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Asst. Settlement Manager
