Settlement Officer

About the role

Join Fine Securities Limited as a Settlement Officer based in Kowloon In this full-time position, you will be responsible for processing and settling various financial transactions. Your attention to detail and strong organisational skills will be crucial in ensuring timely and accurate settlement of trades and other transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Daily Settlement Processing: Manage daily settlement operations for various financial products, ensuring timely and accurate transaction completion;
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies; identify and mitigate potential risks;
• Issue Identification and Resolution: Investigate and resolve anomalies in settlement processes to minimize business impact;
• Internal and External Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., operations, compliance, finance) and external counterparties to facilitate smooth settlement;
• System and Process Optimization: Participate in settlement system optimization and upgrade projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
• At least 2 years of settlement experience in financial/securities industry;
• Proficient in basic settlement processes, and awareness of Hong Kong financial compliance;
• Settlement experience in the virtual assets/cryptocurrency industry will be an advantage;
• Cooperative, a responsible, detail-minded, and meticulous person with a positive attitude, good stress management, and fast-paced working style;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
