Settlement Specialist (Assistant Manager)

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile settlement transactions for Visa, Mastercard, JCB, ATM, and utility payment businesses.
• Prepare accounting entries, settlement reports, and transaction-related reports accurately and on time.
• Prepare and validate VAT, SBT, withholding tax, and other related files for submission to the Tax team.
• Process utility merchant payments, tax invoices, and fund transfers through banking platforms.
• Maintain and support merchant setup and master data across business entities.
• Monitor settlement accounts and investigate reconciliation discrepancies.
• Investigate ATM dispute cases, perform manual transaction adjustments, and communicate resolutions to relevant parties.
• Process transaction adjustments and re-post rejected transactions in applicable systems.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Tax, Operations, IT, and other stakeholders to resolve operational issues and improve processes.
• Support UAT activities, system enhancement initiatives, and project implementation related to settlement operations.
• Act as a backup to the Supervisor and support team operations when required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance, Settlement Operations, Card Business, Banking Operations, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of card settlement processes and banking operations.
• Understanding of accounting principles, settlement logic, VAT, SBT, and tax-related requirements.
• Good command of English.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and work under pressure.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and high integrity.

Work Location: BAY Rama 3 (Head Quarter), Bangkok
