Settlement VP(Futures and Securities)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for activities including securities settlement, corporate action, client fund transfers, IPO, placement, stock repo and SBL etc
• Respond to inquiries from clients and internal teams regarding futures settlements
• Process and confirm futures contract accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor and ensure the smoothness of settlements, especially corporate action for HK equities, US equities, JP equities and SG equities
• Communicate directly with front office regarding important transaction settlements
• Client, Exchange, and broker trade and position reconciliation
• Contribute to settlement system implementation and feedback
• Participate in UAT of new systems and systems upgrades
• Segregation of client money

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Finance or related disciplines
• 5-8 years' relevant working experience in sell side settlements
• Strong understanding of futures and Securities markets and settlement processes
• Strong leadership and organization skills
• Proficiency in Insert relevant software/tools, e.g., Excel, settlement platforms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Product knowledge on Stock Options is an advantage
• Excellent command of English and Chinese
