**Setup/Service Technician**

Set up new equipment and maintain, diagnose, and repair consumer small

engine equipment (such as small tractors, mowers, and related

equipment), Fisher plows & sanders and outdoor recreational vehicles.

**Location**

St. Albans, Vermont

**Tasks**

• Set up new equipment for product display or sale to consumers.
• Assemble,installand repairFisher plows,sanders, and salters.
• Prepare cost estimates for repairs.
• Test and inspect the unitto determine malfunctions, locate missing

and/or broken parts, and to verify repairs, using diagnostic

instruments if needed.

• Assembleand repairATVs and side-by-sides which may include, but not

limited to: adjust valves, carburetors, distributors, and spark plug

gaps, using feeler gauges.

• Remove, dismantleand reassembleengines using hand tools, and

examineparts for defects.

• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning and servicing.
• Record repairs made, time spent, and parts used with proper

documentation.

• Show customers how to maintain equipment.
