Duties

• Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the OpenTable system.
• Deliver food and drinks to tables in a timely manner while ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Manage cash handling procedures, including processing payments and operating the cash register.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
• Provide recommendations based on guest preferences and dietary restrictions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Uphold cleanliness standards in both dining areas and service stations throughout shifts.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction at all times.
• Assist in training new staff members as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating a cash register.
• Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn about menu items and service techniques.
